Creators of Silent Hill and Resident Evil are considering a joint project
There are no specific plans yet, but Toyama sees himself as a screenwriter or plot author for a potential joint project.
"Although I am not preparing anything at the moment, I think it is quite possible that I could start collaborating with great horror masters. I think it is important to clearly understand what I would have to do in such a situation. Perhaps I could write a story or script for such a game if it is a game - this is my assumption. But nothing like that is happening now, although, of course, I can imagine myself working on such a project in the future".
Mikami, known as the "father of survival horror", revolutionized the genre in 1996 by releasing the first Resident Evil, while Toyama created the dark, psychological world of Silent Hill.
