Developers of Dead Cells presented 15 minutes of their new game Windblown
It seems that the new roguelike Windblown from the studio Motion Twin, responsible for creating Dead Cells, will indeed be released in 2024.
Developers released a 15-minute gameplay video showcasing the beginning and basics of the gameplay.
In Windblown, you wake up as the Jumper. A fearless warrior tasked with protecting your home from the enraged Vortex. You know, the one that threatens your entire existence and way of life? Fortunately, you have a few tools at your disposal that hopefully will make your journey less painful and full of suffering.
In Windblown, like in roguelites, death is not the end. Soon you are saved (sort of...) and transported back to the Ark - a peaceful collection of celestial islands that you call home. Here you can interact with several NPCs, receive new quests, expand your arsenal of weapons and upgrades, and even invite other jumpers to help you in the next run.
Windblown can be played solo or with two other players online. Developers admit that the game was designed with cooperative play in mind.
