Dune: Awakening receives a new trailer showcasing the beauty of Arrakis

Funcom studio has released a new trailer for Dune: Awakening, created on the game engine and showcasing the beauty and landmarks of Arrakis.

The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and will utilize all the engine's technologies, including Nanite and Lumen, as well as Nvidia's DLSS 3.

Dune: Awakening will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

In this unique interpretation of the iconic science fiction universe of Dune, you will play the role of a prisoner sent to Arrakis to uncover the mystery of the disappearance of the Fremen. Follow the traces of the mysterious tribe to understand the true power of the desert and embark on the path from nameless survivor to a representative of the Atreides or Harkonnens, — states the official project description.
