Ghost of Tsushima - another big hit for PlayStation

The Ghost series is a young brand in Sucker Punch Productions' portfolio. The first part was so warmly received that both the developers and PlayStation have big plans for it.

From Sony Interactive Entertainment's perspective, releasing Ghost of Tsushima on PC in the Director's Cut version a few months ago was the right decision. This is evidenced by the online results on Steam: the game ranks second in terms of peak players - with 77,154 players. It was only surpassed by the online game Helldivers 2, but when considering single-player games, the project by Sucker Punch Productions takes the lead.

One might wonder if the PC release can significantly improve the game's overall sales performance, which stood at 9.7 million copies in 2022. It turns out it can: creative directors Nate Fox and Jason Connell told the New York Times that Ghost of Tsushima has sold 13 million copies.
