Head of Take-Two Interactive Strauss Zelnick is confident in Rockstar, but notes that 'competitors are not sleeping'.

In its latest financial report, Take-Two Interactive confirmed its intentions to release Grand Theft Auto 6 in autumn 2025 exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Rockstar Games strives for perfection in everything it does. If we focus on meeting the needs of our consumers, it will be our best chance for success. GTA 6 is coming out on consoles, and we know what the current user base of consoles looks like, - said Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick.

Zelnick also noted that while Take-Two Interactive is confident in the Rockstar Games team, the company is not rushing to forget about competitors.
