Minecraft no longer supports PlayStation VR
The latest update for Minecraft, version 1.21.30, brought several important changes, including the discontinuation of PlayStation VR support.
Mojang announced that PlayStation VR support has come to an end and will no longer be included in updates after March 2025. After receiving the final update, players will still be able to use Minecraft on their PlayStations, but without PlayStation VR support. Built worlds and purchases in the Marketplace, including tokens, will remain accessible.
While this news may disappoint some players, the update includes a number of gameplay improvements, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
The update is not limited to VR. Gameplay on various platforms has been improved, for example, inventory has been optimized and mob interactions have been adjusted. Additionally, issues affecting game stability on different devices have been fixed, providing players with a smoother and more reliable gaming experience.
The update also focuses on game management: the interaction system and settings have been improved. The changes are designed to make the game easier to use for both new and experienced players, making routine tasks simpler.
