Ubisoft Cancels Early Access to Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Players who purchased the collector's edition of the new AC for almost three hundred dollars could start their adventure early.

Ubisoft has officially announced that buying the collector's edition of Assassin’s Creed Shadows no longer grants players early access to the new action game - owners of such an edition will be able to start their adventure on February 14th along with everyone else.

The edition also no longer includes the season pass, through which players could download Shadows' add-ons at no extra cost.

The changes to the contents of the collector's edition have affected the price, which has decreased from almost 300 to 229 dollars.

Ubisoft has also warned that the design of the figurine, steelbook, and other contents of the collector's edition may change.
